Is this service right for you?

Medication is never the only option, but for many people it can ease symptoms enough that daily life and therapy feel more manageable.

Common reasons people choose Medication Management

  • Your current medication is not working as well as you hoped.
  • You are experiencing side effects and want to explore other options.
  • You are considering starting medication for the first time and want a careful, honest conversation.
  • You want a prescriber who will coordinate with your therapist or primary care provider.

What to expect with Medication Management

We take time to know you, explain options, and adjust carefully based on how you feel over time.

1

Comprehensive evaluation

Your provider reviews your history, current symptoms, past medications, medical conditions, and goals for care so any plan is grounded and safe.

2

Shared decisions

You discuss possible medication options, how they work, expected benefits, and potential side effects. You decide together whether and how to start.

3

Ongoing follow up

Regular visits allow you to share how you are feeling, adjust doses when needed, and revisit whether a medication is still the right fit.

How this service can help

Medications do not change who you are. They can reduce the intensity of symptoms so you can focus on therapy, relationships, and daily life.

Frequently asked questions

Many people have mixed feelings about medication. We welcome your questions.

Not necessarily. Some people benefit from longer-term treatment, while others use medication for a defined period. We talk regularly about how you are doing and, when appropriate, plan careful tapers together rather than stopping suddenly.
For some concerns, therapy alone is very effective. For others, a combination of therapy and medication works best. We review what the research suggests and talk through what fits your symptoms, history, and preferences.
Feeling cautious is normal. We explain possible side effects up front, how to monitor them, and what to do if they appear. You always have a say in whether to start, continue, or change a medication.

Explore whether medication is right for you

If you are curious about medication or want a fresh look at your current regimen, we can help you review options in a grounded, collaborative way.
